Description
Sunburst Supernova
This pattern is a fractal pattern that I created using a program called Frax Pro on my iPad. Fractals are never ending patterns based on mathematical equations. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a math whiz, but I'm amazed at how beautiful a math equation can be. Fractals can also be found in nature. Examples are the nautilus shell, snowflake patterns and even our galaxies.
This pattern is based on the Mandelbrot equation.
This fractal is in a spiral sunburst pattern. The colors I chose were various blues, pinks, oranges and yellows. This pattern would look wonderful as a metal print or acrylic print. If you choose to print on paper, choose the semi glossy or glossy photo papers. The matte papers would make this vibrant pattern lose it's luster. It would also look great printed on items such as tote bags, throw pillows, or phone cases.
I also do custom commissions. For more information, check out my website at www.becksydigitalart.com or my blog www.pixelpaintcreations.blogspot.com.
