This is the second portrait in my Favorite Dog Breed series. This is the German Shepherd Dog. a favorite dog that is a jack of all trades. This breed is used as service dogs, protection dogs and is a favorite as police and bomb sniffing dogs. They are loyal companions and when brought up appropriately, can be great family dogs.
This portrait was done digitally using an iPad Air 2 and the app ProCreate.
This painting would look great as a canvas or paper print to hang in a living room or office. This would also make the perfect gift for a dog lover or german shepherd enthusiast. I also offer this print on other items such as tote bags, shower curtains, duvet covers and phone cases.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details.
