Contemplation

This painting is of a beautiful Snow Leopard looking off into the distance. I feel as if he is contemplating something, perhaps the fate of his species, hence the title of this piece. This painting is also going to be the first in a series of endangered Big Cats that I will be doing.

This painting was painted digitally on an iPad Air 2 using the app ProCreate.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details.
