This is a portrait of my own cat, Katie. She is a domestic long haired maine coon cat. This painting was created digitally on an iPad using the app ProCreate.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details. Being interested in computers and technology, I have always been fascinated by digital art. I finally was able to get a taste when I got my iPad and found the app ProCreate.
