Artist's Description

Egyptian God

This pattern is a fractal pattern that I created using a program called Frax Pro on my iPad. Fractals are never ending patterns based on mathematical equations. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a math whiz, but I'm amazed at how beautiful a math equation can be. Fractals can also be found in nature. Examples are the nautilus shell, snowflake patterns and even our galaxies.
This pattern is based on the Mandelbrot equation.

I called it Egyptian God because it reminds me of an ornate crown or mask. This pattern would look great as a metal or acrylic print or printed on items such as the throw pillow, tote bags, or shower curtains.

I also do custom commissions. For more information, check out my website, www.beckysdigitalart.com or my blog, www.pixelpaintcreations.blogspot.com.

About Becky Herrera

Becky Herrera

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. Being interested in computers and technology, I have always been fascinated by digital art. I finally was able to get a taste when I got my iPad and found the app ProCreate. Since then I haven't looked back. All my paintings available on Fine Art America/Pixels are created on my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and using the app ProCreate. My gallery has a wide range of subjects from...
